Floodplains by Design is an ambitious initiative reshaping how we understand and manage floodplains. The goal is to strengthen the health and resilience of these ecosystems while reducing flood risks for communities – delivering win-win outcomes for both people and nature.

With many partners at the table, each bringing different priorities, the program needed clear, thoughtful messaging to build alignment and rally the troops. We created a suite of communication tools including messaging frameworks, a website, and a film series to tell the story of the FbD initiative while humanizing its impact.
