PPA Watch is an initiative to make global clean energy markets fairer, more transparent, and more efficient. Many long-term electricity contracts are negotiated behind closed doors, especially in emerging economies. Lack of transparency can lead to inflated electricity costs, limited competition, and slower deployment of clean energy. Spearheaded by the Energy for Growth Hub, PPA Watch advocates for these contracts to be fully disclosed, believing that transparency will unlock cheaper, cleaner, and more reliable electricity for people everywhere.

Energy for Growth Hub asked us to develop a new website and animated explainer video to launch PPA Watch. Our challenge was to turn a complex, often overlooked issue into something clear, accessible, and compelling for a broad audience. We created a design anchored in clean, impactful data visualizations to build credibility, along with audience-specific pages that help users quickly find the information relevant to their needs. Our aim was to build trust by balancing professionalism with approachability.
