Líťsit yiká· xá·bil-ts (Quillayute River Restoration) | Film
Quileute Tribe, Bonneville Environmental Foundation
The Quileute Tribe is leading a major effort to restore the Quillayute River on Washington’s Olympic Peninsula – one of the last remaining salmon strongholds in the lower 48 states. Projects of this scale require a healthy dose of patience, steady funding, and an unwavering commitment to a long-term vision. Our aim was to help build support by highlighting the river’s deep significance to the Quileute people and their leadership in safeguarding its health, for everyone’s benefit.
